  The workshop aims to sensitise Japanese students in Germany to cultural differences in communication and thus contribute to the development of their cultural action and communication skills.

  The focus is on discussing the differences and similarities between cultural standards, communication patterns and social behaviour in Germany and China. In particular, practical aspects that participants need for their personal dealings with Chinese colleagues or co-operation partners will also be considered.
